Random Shots of the Day

We made it to Tembe Elephant Park today after surviving a couple wrong turns, major pot holed roads and lots of semi trucks.  It's a quite an interesting place.  I'll put some pictures up tomorrow of the tents we are staying in. 

There are a couple of union strikes going on in SA.  One is affecting the delivery of gasoline to gas stations.  Today we arrived at a station only to find that they were out of gas.  This is not a big deal when you have other stations to go to but out here it's an issue when they are few and far between.  Luckily we found gas about 50km down the road and off we went.

There are fires buring all over the place.  The dry winter grass is readily consumed by errant flames.
